Terms of use

Responsible recording

You may use the app only for lawful recording. You are responsible for telling participants that recording is taking place and for obtaining any consent required by law, policy, contract, or professional duty. Do not use the app for hidden, deceptive, or unlawful surveillance.

Automated output

Transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, names, dates, and other generated content may contain omissions or errors. Review and edit all generated content before relying on it or sharing it. Generated minutes are a drafting aid and are not automatically an authoritative, certified, legal, medical, or professional record.

Local and optional online features

After a transcription model is downloaded, core recording, transcription, and minutes generation can operate locally. Internet access is required for model downloads and optional services such as Google Drive or store purchases. Third-party providers control the availability and terms of their services.

Open-source technology

The app uses ONNX-converted Whisper model weights originally released by OpenAI under the MIT License and the Apache-2.0-licensed sherpa-onnx runtime. OpenAI does not process recordings through this app and does not sponsor or endorse the app. Required notices are available in the app and on the open-source notices page.

Access and purchases

The local seven-day evaluation does not automatically bill. Any lifetime purchase is handled by the applicable platform store and is subject to that store’s purchase and refund rules. Existing meetings remain available for reading, export, and sharing after local evaluation access ends.

Your content

You remain responsible for meeting content that you record, import, edit, export, upload, or share, including whether you have the right to process it and whether its destination is appropriate.

Warranty and liability

The app and automated output are provided as tools and may be unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable law are not excluded or limited by these terms.
